Becoming an Active Aloha Ambassador is straightforward. We believe the best content comes from genuine adventure, so we've designed a program that rewards you for doing what you already love — getting out on the water and sharing your stoke.

What You Get as an Ambassador

We want our ambassadors to feel like part of the Active Oahu ʻohana. Here's what you earn when you join:

• Free Rental Credits: Redeemable for tandem kayak rentals, stand-up paddleboards, snorkel sets, and beach gear — everything you need for a perfect day on Oahu's windward coast.
• E-Bike Credits: Explore Kailua, Lanikai, and beyond with complimentary electric bike rental hours. Cruise the coastline with zero effort and maximum views.
• Exclusive Ambassador Gear: Limited-edition Active Oahu merchandise — dry bags, rash guards, and stickers — available only to program members.
• Early Access to New Tours: Be the first to try new self-guided and guided experiences before they're available to the public. Your feedback helps shape our offerings.
• Feature Spotlights: Get featured on Active Oahu's official Instagram and website, growing your own audience while you share the aloha.

Who Can Join

The Active Aloha Ambassador Program is open to anyone with a genuine love for Oahu and outdoor adventure. You don't need a massive following — we care about authenticity, not follower counts.

• Oahu Locals: Live on island and paddle regularly? Share your backyard and earn credits for your next staycation adventure.
• Frequent Visitors: If you visit Oahu annually or semi-annually, the ambassador program turns every trip into a rewards-earning experience.
• Content Creators: Photographers, vloggers, and social media enthusiasts — your content gets amplified through our channels while you earn free gear.
• Couples & Families: Adventuring with your partner or keiki? Family-friendly content that captures the joy of Oahu's outdoors is always welcome.

Program Rules

To keep the program valuable for everyone, we ask ambassadors to follow a few simple guidelines:

• Authentic Content Only: Share real, honest experiences. We don't require scripted promotions — your genuine enjoyment is what inspires others to explore Oahu.
• Tag @activeoahu: Every qualifying post must tag our Instagram account @activeoahu and include the hashtag #ActiveAlohaAmbassador.
• Monthly Minimum: Ambassadors should post at least two pieces of content per month featuring Active Oahu gear or experiences to maintain active status and credit eligibility.
• Respect the ʻĀina: All content should reflect responsible outdoor ethics — respect wildlife, stay on marked trails, pack out what you pack in, and follow ocean safety guidelines.
• Credit Redemption: Ambassador credits are applied to future bookings only and cannot be redeemed for cash. Credits expire 12 months from issuance.
